Summary:

The C-5 / C-17 Maintenance Training Facility was a new construction project located on the Dover Air Force Base. The project housed the Hands On Training Site for the C-5 and C-17 Aircraft Engines. The project was Primed by a JV of Koman of Anchorage, AK and Toltest, Inc. of Maumee, OH. The project was awarded a LEED Silver Rating. The bays housed full sized training engines being used on the actual aircrafts. Our scope included the installation of a total HVAC system including a twenty five (25) ton split system, ductwork, Trane DDC control system, plumbing system, High Pressure air lines, Tube Heaters and Humidification system.

Results:

The project was turned over to the client on time and in budget. The project was awarded a LEED Silver Award.
