The Waterford Bank Addition was an addition connected to the existing Waterford Bank more than tripling the original size of the building. The project was managed by The Berman Building Co., Inc. of Sylvania, OH. FMI was the mechanical subcontractor responsible for the HVAC scope of the project. The existing building was a single story with a partial basement, the addition added a two (2) story structure directly connected to the existing bank. The new structure included a main Lobby, Executive Offices, three (3) Conference Rooms, Lunch Room, Workout / Locker Room, Training Area, An Assortment of private and cubical work spaces and the main Mechanical Room. The mechanical room houses the two (2) main Air Handling Units serving the new addition, two (2) High Efficiency Hot Water boilers, Steam Humidifier and the New DDC (JCI) conrtol system. The Server Room is climate controled by two (2) redundent Mini-Split systems. The chilled water is provided by a 57 ton air cooled chiller.

Results:

The ground breaking took place early Fall 2011, due to the unexpected high water table, the project excavation was slowed for the major dewatering of the site. The delay was overcome and the project was completed on time and at budget to the surprise of the owner.
